The Environment Cell is mainly to teach students about the importance of Natural Environment and motivate them to practice conservation of this planet which is a home for all of us, and to become conservation leaders. The club aims at inculcating values for preserving the fragile planet and ecosystem. There was a dire need of an association in the name of 'Environment cell in presidency university . This cells focus more on foster knowledge ,skill and values to protection of our environment and sustainable living , field visits to study flora of region and understand the importance of education .

Students of SOE has participated in the campaign, With faculty and student coordinators of ECPU and NSS they have visited many shops in Dibbur and distributed the paper bags that are been made and collected by the students .
public awareness of destruction caused by usage of plastic, the shopkeepers in the locality were requested to give up the use of plastic bags. Head Student coordinator of ECPU Sunkara Prem Kumar Reddy and Student coordinator of NSS Ashutosh had lead the team .
We Environmental Cell in Collaboration with Department of Chemistry have conducted a talk on environmental science to the students of 9th class in People’s Trust ,Sriramnahalli .
Where the faculty's methods of instruction and their methods of approaching the students have really impressed the pupils. The feedback from the children is excellent; they provided a brief video of their comments and described how they try to maintain a good and clean atmosphere.
